Intern Statutory Reporting at Axpo

This internship program aims to provide an overview of the Back Office areas and deal lifecycle, followed by focused knowledge on the activities of the Statutory Reporting team. You will support the operational work of the department, offer recommendations for process enhancements, and gain valuable insights into the energy trading industry.

What you will do:

• Submission of regular reports for gas and power trading activities on respective platforms online or through filed and signed excel/word reports with accurate numbers.
• Daily communication with various Energy Regulators across countries such as Romania, Hungary, Austria, France, Belgium as well as with traders/originators.
• Proactively communicating with other teams in the Back Office Operations Service Unit in Axpo Bulgaria and Axpo Solutions in Switzerland to extract relevant data from systems.
• Regular communication and reporting to the National Statistical Institutes.
• Documenting and automating reports for efficient processes.
• Ensuring indirect tax payments align with reports and charges to clients.
• Ensuring Certificate redemptions align with reports and client obligations.

What you bring & who you are:

• Technical or business management education with a university degree.
• Good knowledge and use of office applications such as databases, workflows and Excel.
• You are skilled in document processes and creating work instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, combined with an analytical approach and attention to detail.
• You are fluent in English.
